April Showers, May Flowers
We’ve finally made it to Spring weather here in NYC! That also means lots of rainy days too. Luckily there is a cute new instagrammable spot in town at 28th and Lexington on the 6 line! Currently the side with all its murals done is on the downtown side, the uptown side is still a work in progress. Perfect for when the weather is not cooperating.
Farmer’s Market at Union Square is also back in full swing with tons of gorgeous spring blooms! I couldn’t resists these gorgeous hydrangeas Friday afternoon before shooting. I also left with an apple mint plant—impulse buys! If anyone knows where I can get a cute pot for my green friend to grow in NYC let your girl know!
This look is perfect for a Saturday browsing the farmers market, getting brunch, or sitting in the park drinking rose! The jeans are Levi’s ‘Another Mother Mom Jeans’ from Rent the Runway. These were so fun with the flowers embroidered on them which made them a perfect item to rent because the embroidery makes them very trendy. It was fun to try out a style of jean that I don’t normally wear either! And I kinda loved them!
I love bodysuits! I think there is something so easy about them, this is my first spring/summer purchase of the season. It’s a dusty pink color with a mock neck, and an eyelet detail. I got a M/L in this because I’m 5’7” and sometimes the S/M is not long enough to be comfortable. Remember size is just a label! It’s more about how the item fits you, I buy things in a range of sizes depending on how i want an item to look. So never feel bad about what that label is telling you!
Can we please talk about the “booty” that these jeans give you!?! The high waist and pocket placement is perfect for giving the illusion of a serious booty. Beware these jeans come with no stretch, they are 100% cotton. I sized up to a 26, which fit like a glove. If I were buying these I’d have possibly gone up to a 27 because cotton shrinks and these babies fit snug!
